No. The application is offline-first. You can perform all day-to-day administrative tasks without an internet connection. Once your machine reconnects, pending records automatically sync to the cloud.
What happens to my local data when updating the application?
Your local database is stored separately in your operating system's persistent application data directory. Upgrading or reinstalling the desktop client will never wipe your offline records.
Why does Windows SmartScreen display a warning on first install?
Newly released installers may trigger Windows SmartScreen until reputation builds up. Click More info and select Run anyway. You can verify the installer's integrity by comparing the published SHA-256 checksum.
Can multiple computers in the same school connect to the same tenant?
Yes! Fee counters, principal offices, and teacher rooms can each run their own desktop app instances. The cloud sync engine orchestrates and aggregates records across all active machines.
